notes - loved this book so much, the hopefulness and the belief in God so unfaltering and the sadness throughout the whole book was well written. bonus point cause it's written by a sri lankan muslim woman. yesss. definitely recommend to everyone (do look up triggers). full review is on the blog.
wip updates
am currently writing a book abbreviated to 'bs'. yes am aware it could be called bullshit 😂
monthly wc - 4678
total wc - 18675
special notes -
i realized that i messed up the timeline of the story which put me in a bit of a slump. but i guess my anger has worn off now. my frustration is still there because my writing style is permanently stuck at the second grader word vomit phase. i am trying not to let it get to me by telling myself that i will edit it, there will be more drafts but it still annoys me.
on a much happier note, i started chapter 10 and all the main storylines are starting to take place. i also sent the story to some of my friends for feedback. i have gotten some constructive criticism and it has in a way helped me understand what i need to work on in this story. never underestimate feedback guys, especially in the earlier stages.
anyways that is all i have to say. have a great month ahead. take care and stay safe.
