What January was like in Entertainment Form
Entertainment in the form of moving pictures was abundant for me because the first half of January was the last part of my holidays. I couldn't read as much as I would have liked to but I am improving on that as of now (Feb 13th). Uni has already started and we are halfway through the semester already!! Can't believe how fast the time is flying. I swear time owns a jet pack now. Anyways you can go on to my January wrap up (:
Synopsis :
I remembered my name – Mara. But, standing in that ghostly place, faced with the solemn young man in the black coat with silver skulls for buttons, I could recall nothing else about myself.
And then the games began.
The Messenger sees the darkness in young hearts, and the damage it inflicts upon the world. If they go unpunished, he offers the wicked a game. Win, and they can go free. Lose, and they will live out their greatest fear.
But what does any of this have to do with Mara? She is about to find out . . .

Review :
Positive points for this book was that the main character was an Asian. That was a pleasant surprise. And the storyline was pretty interesting. I didnt know it was a series so I though the book felt a bit rushed. But since it's the first book I can understand now that it laid out a lot of groundwork for the rest of the series to expand out and continue. The violence and gruesome bits werent as gruesome as I thought it would be but I still do not suggest this one for the faint hearted (:

The main hero intervenes in her situations, but things get complicated, because the campus beauty has her eye on the hero (who has a mysterious side).

Review :
I loved the drama so naturally I had to read the webtoon. The drama was a bit different from the webtoon and I honestly preferred the drama to this but mostly the drama followed the webtoon script so I guess there is nothing much to say other than the fact that I liked it. The art style was unique and I liked it overall.
