November Wrap Up

Hey guys!!
This is my November wrap up. Due to exams coming up and me being broke I couldnt really buy any new books and I only managed to read two books. I did read around four wattpad books though. I might review them for a Wattoad Wednesday post soon, insha allah. And without further ado lets get on to the books I read this month.
· Which Witch? // Eva Ibbottson
It was a children fiction and so darn funny! I was reading it at the library because I was fed up of studying and I saw it lying around so yeah and cheese and waffle fries I was laughing like crazy. The other people at the library kept giving me weird looks like 'Why the heck is this crazy woman grinning like that?' but obviously I was not bothered. I mean come on I am allowed to express my emotions right. Hello human rights people?!
Anyways basically the story was about this extremely wicked wizard who is fed up of being wicked but still wants wickedness to be continued and so he wants a heir. The answer to his dilemma find a wicked witch. He hosts a competition where all the black witches can take part in a series of games and see who is the most wicked for him to get married too.
I loved this and rate it a 4.5 stars out of five. Eva Ibottson managed to make a pretty serious situation funny and charming at the same time. Definitely recommend this for a light read.
· The Storyteller // Jodi Picoult
This novel was mind blowing.
Sage was an athiest and she was entrusted by her new friend Joseph with a secret that can shake the world.
The story also tells of a woman who survived the Holocaust. A lot of emotions were shown in this novel with plot twist after plot twist after plot twist. I kept saying 'ooh's and 'Aah's throughout the whole book.
She describes each scene that happens at the Holocaust very vividly you feel like you have gone through it. I could smell the pastry with chocolate and cinnamon. I could hear the gunshots and the cries of the children. I could smell the burning of the flesh. I could feel bones pricking me. It all felt so real when I read this book. I also found a lot of quotes that I loved in this book. You can so many markers on it ^_^
My favourite bits of the books were the vivid detailing of food and the story that one of the characters write about good, evil and vampires. It is a story within a story and I loved it. She also ends it abruptly which makes me want to know more and it also ended up with me writing my own alternate endings for her story.
I rate this story 4.7 stars out of five.
