September Book Haul & Wrap Up

Hello guys.

Today's post is my last months book haul and wrap up.
I went to the annual BMICH Colombo Book fait this month and only got 6 books. :( I usually get around ten but according to my parents a/s studies and all that jazz is coming so yeah only 6.

Book Haul

• A Thousand Splendid Suns//Khaled Housseini

• Cinder (Book 1 - Lunar chronicles)//Marissa Meyer

• Cress (Book 3 - Lunar chronicles)//Marissa Meyer
Unfortunately book 2 wasn't there. But its a biig thing that this itself was there in my country

• Oblivion (Book 5 - The Power Of Five)//Anthony Horowitz

• The Storyteller//Jodi Picoult

• Five point something// (can't remember the authors name)
This book mama took it saying it's not for my age after hearing the author's name. So I will not get to read it until after she reads it and tells me that its appropriate for my age. I honestly don't know what's wrong with that book I mean the cover was lovely plus the sypnosis seemed fine. Hmmm.

So basically its like I only bought five books :(

Wrap Up

• Skulduggery Pleasant Kingdom of the Wicked (Book 7)//Derek Landy

This was an amazing series which I have been reading for two and a half years now. Finally got this book and I was like sooo happy. The book is even better but I am still annoyed with Valkyrie, she is one of the main characters, and I am wondering when will sue lose that big sun sized ego of hers. And my ship in this series seems to be not happening but I soooo badly want that ship to sail. I mean come on. They are like so perfect.

• Skulduggery Pleasant Last Stand of Dead Men (Book 8)

This is the one before last book of the series and once I was done with the book I had to calm my self down by eating gummy bears if not surely I would have thrown that book at the wall. Why Derek Landy?!?!?! Why oh why oh why?!?!?! Why did you do that to those characters!!! Am just urgh!!! Even thinking about it makes me angry!!! I NEED to get the last book soon!!!

• Red Rising//Pierce Brown

This is a dystopian read. At first I didn't really enjoy the strory but as it goes on it becomes interesting. It is a bit like the Hunger Games. I was not really a big fan of the main character until like the last third of the book. He did the me pretty stupid things before that. Also the ending got me like 'Whaaat?! Is ye an idiot?!' And I so badly want to know the answer. And I doubt that I will find the second book in my country. How do I persuade my dada to do online shopping? :(
