Book Review: Penelope // Leslie Caveny
Hello and here is another book review ;)
I was actually reading 'The Lord Of the Rings Book One' by J.R.R.Tolkien but then my lovely aunt sent me this book and I ended up reading this instead. =P

This book seems to be a modern day fairytale. The rich girl named Penelope has everything she wants but her only problem, she is cursed. I won't tell you what the curse, read the book and find out ;)
There is only one way to break the curse and that is only if a blue blooded (not literally) person will accept her for who she is. Which is why her mother tries to find a suitor for her but Penelope doesn't like it.
Its a lovely book about how this girl who all her life is being said that her cursed self isn't who she really is and that there is a better version of her breaks those bonds and tries to show the world her real her is just her no matter how she looks like or what she wears. It shows us girls to stand up for ourselves and not wait around for some prince charming to come along.
There is also a movie and I really want to watch it soon. Hopefully.
Anyways seems like my reviewing skills are not going to get any better soon =D
