Book Review: The Kane Chronicles // Rick Riordan

Hello readers. I thought I'll do this review for today's post. This book review is actually long over due. It is a series by myth master Rick Riordan, The Kane Chronicles. The books in order are,
The Red Pyramid
The Throne Of Fire
The Serpent's Shadow

This series was awesome as you expected it to be from Rick Riordan. It was witty, funny and totally sarcastic. The story was narrated in the form of a recording by the main two characters Carter and Sadie, who by the way are siblings.
Both of them didn't know they had magical properties and they had been living separately until the visiting day where the father, who has Carter, goes to visit Sadie. On that day a terrible event happens which causes them to be together. From there they learn of terrible things and that magic actually exists and the greek gods are alive and kicking. As all adventure stories go these children are given a time limit and they have to save the world from an Armageddon. On the way they fall in love, make new friends and do incredibly stupid things that you yourself would be surprised that they managed to get out of it alive!
But all in all these books were pretty good and I definitely recommend you guys to read. If you liked the Percy Jackson series then I think you will love The Kane Chronicles.
