Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult | #SammyReviews
Hello everybody!!!
So its my first review here on my blog. Usually I don't review books and if anyone asks me how a book was then I would usually give a couple of words as answers. So please forgive me of my review isn't that great.
This book is a very emotional book. So many feelings were felt in this book. Happiness. Sadness. Confusion. Love. The character, Delia, has basically found out that she has been kidnapped by someone. And the life she is living isn't actually her real life. So its basically about how she copes with all the worry and stress. Before she gets the news though she leads a very good life, she has a five year old daughter, a good fiancé, a good best friend and a job she loves. So the book is definitely really good one.
The reason I picked up this book was because the previous book I have read of Jodi Picoult was 'My Sister's Keeper' and Oh My Gosh that was such an amazing book. I almost cried towads the end. It was so touching.
Its the same with this book. The writing is amazing and the plot is brilliant. I don't how else to say anything without spoiling the book. The story is also narrated in four people's point of view. The main character, Delia, her fiancé, Eric, her best friend, Fitz, and her father, Andrew.
This book also shows how a criminal survives in jail and its pretty scary. It also has a lot to do with memory and how it actually works. Whether the memory you have is real or have you invented it or something like that.
So yeah that is my review for this book. I know its not that great but I tried to do my best. Hopefully you read this book and find out how awesome this book actually is.
Till my next post readers.
Thank you for reading.
